PeepoSad

What does PeepoSad mean?

‘PeepoSad’ means ‘I’m sad’

When people on Twitch want to show they’re feeling sad or let down, they use peepoSad. It’s part of a whole family of expressions that come from a redesigned image of a well-known internet character, Pepe the Frog.

Peepo, also known as Pepo, first popped up on online imageboards in the late 2010s. It was a fan’s new take on Pepe the Frog. Soon, folks started using Peepo or Pepo as a name for any tweaked version of Pepe.

As time went on, Twitch users started making their own Pepe emotes. These are little pictures used to show how they’re feeling. They came up with names for them like peepoCheer, peepoHappy, and of course, peepoSad. The peepoSad emote shows a picture of Pepe shedding a tear.
