A guy who is super into something
A Fanboy is essentially a dude who’s over the moon about a particular sports team, well-known figure, and so on. This is someone whose fan enthusiasm extends to owning a significant amount of merchandise, and maybe even a costume related to their obsession.
In other words, when a guy is so into something like a football team or a popular movie star, they’re called a Fanboy. They might have a collection of all the gear, like jerseys, posters, and other stuff. They might even own a costume, like a superhero suit or a team mascot outfit.
So, if you come across a guy who’s all about their favorite thing and they’ve got all the merchandise to prove it, they’re a Fanboy. It’s a term that’s used to describe guys who are super fans of anything, really.
